    Amazed by slax...!

Well I decided to give it a try..I've heard that Slackware likes ancient software and packages but geez..Slax is a little dream on its own. Booted from CD, logged in and bam. MP3 playback works, even played an MPEG music video from slipknot on the LiveCD (As I could access my windows drives) and I did all this while writing this and chatting on IRC via Kopete.

    /me thinks it's nice

It's been awhile since I've tried slax but it was very nice, indeed. Maybe I'll play with it again at the first opportunity.

Glad you are having fun with it!

yeah slax rulez. Best yet it's based on Slackware. Slackware with no fuzz and headaches. Unfortunately Tomas removed the install script and insist people should use slax in live form. It was my main OS back then.
