I hope it works better now...I installed an older version a while ago in Firefox and it was slow, buggy, unstable, etc. I eventually tried uninstalling it by deleting all the libflashplayer.so files everywhere I could find them, but it just didn't go away. Anyways, sorry for my rambling, but I'm going to wait and see if anyone else has problems with it before trying it myself.

I use the beta currently and it works perfectly, a few crashes but nothing else

I had been using the beta for a few weeks, it wasn't too bad.
Now I'm using the final version with no trouble so far.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

First time I used the beta I used it on PCLinuxOS, it worked flawlessly except that it crashed out Firefox continuously and with Opera the flash window would just turn blank sometimes. When it worked it worked fine. Now I use the beta on Ubuntu still and it works flawlessly without any crashes or bugs and no delay whatsover. I can play flash games watch YouTube videos etc.
Really happy about it. Howere I have not gotten it to work in Opera yet.
I might install the latest release some other time...but I see no use for it since it works perfectly currently anyway.

I guess I'll try it then, since it seems to be stable.

Well, the graphic-audio sync problem that I've had is fixed, and I am experiencing no slowdowns on pages with Flash or crashes (both of these I experienced with the beta).
So far so good!DISTRO=Arch

Having more than one "libflashplayer.so" file explains why it it didn't work for you.

All the betas worked better for me than the ultra crapy flash7 (I still hate flash though).
