    Wow, that's great.

XFCE certainly deserves to be more popular.

On the positive side : Thunar and Dual-Screen management.
On the bad side : Xfce-terminal could use a good clean up.

I will have to check it out. The thing I would like is a decent menu editor. The current one is worthless.

I agree completely. The menu editor is trash but other than that, 4.4 looks like a solid release. I tried the beta's and RC's and I was quite impressed.

i tried the menu editor. didnt understand how to use it much at all. all i was able to do was remove groups of stuff.

i would like to see xfce get more recognition. i love how they keep very streamlined while visualy efective at the same time.

Being an Xfce4 user... I went ahead and installed the update.

So far, it's working pretty well, but it seems to be missing a few icons in the applications menu. Everything appears to be working properly, but I'm having a rather tough time getting used to the much-hyped Thunar file manager. I've tried Thunar several times over the last year, but always revert back to ROX-filer.

Anyway, I'll report more after playing with it awhile.

Edit: the menu editor is still very poor!
