All of a sudden BOOM! My speakers just burst into flames..... No songs this weekend....wait for monday so that I can get a new set. By the way this way ...

    Unhappy Speakers burned

    All of a sudden BOOM! My speakers just burst into flames..... No songs this weekend....wait for monday so that I can get a new set.

    By the way this way I am now free so planning to test some new OS.....

    I remember one time I was working on my friends computer, and he had to power things that fit into his speakers, I accidently plugged in the wrong one and BOOM no more sound.

    Maybe you could hook up your headphones direct to the soundcard, if possible. I'd freak out if I couldn't hear my sounds.

    Currently doing that but the headphones do not give me that bass effect. I used to have a woofer surround sound system

    Meanwhile I have figured out what actually had happened. Apparently one wire went overheated and then the insulation around it melted and then a short circuit. I think I can try to fix that (nothing else is left to screw over this weekend...)
