irc junkies

sup guys,

i'm famliar with the regular irc hackers, but I havn't taken the time to meet anyone on the boards. i'll surf the boards more...

anyway, why don't we have many IRC users?

Nice 6-month bump, asdf.

The IRC channel has grown nicely in the past few months. I'd say we average about 18 people on at a time, though most of us lurk a lot.

We have some more guests with the Web::IRC, but it would be nice to see some more regulars. I mean...#gentoo has about 900 regular users...c'mon people!

i dont think you have really made it obvous enough we offer irc ive been on linux forums for a wee while and only just noticed like the other week..........and only cos i read a post by someone

Well there is a link in the "site menu bar", it's named "IRC"

Do you (or anyone else) got any suggestion on how to make more users see this 'feature' more well known?

I'm in the Forum Channel all the time and there is usually around 20 users there..
Though I usually only read whats going on, sometimes I do have a chat..
