| Don't worry about the people on the website, they certainly aren't for real.
It is a kind of parody on what might happen when the most zealous right-wing slash conservative slash nationalistic slash christian fundamentalism meets open source technology and tries to combat it with the usual arsenal ( if it is open source it must be drugtaking liberal homosexual communism which we all know to be the worst evil of all time, etc., etc. ). See it as a farce on modern technology being reviewed emotionally without bothering to get a single fact straight.
I can only guess that the person(s) responsible are disguising the non-seriousness of the content because no sane person could ever believe that another sane person would have opinions like this (like: I certainly don't want to side with those lunatics...)
The scary part is, considering todays state of affairs in the world ... there just might be people who ARE buying these arguments. |
