I'd also like to thank every one of you for all the help in the last 10 months or so that have helped us all out.
I've been running linux for about 10 months and tried most of the top ten, Haven't gotten FreeBsd to run as well as I thought it would, still unstabe for my hardware.
The most stable for me and my favorite distro is Debian. I do also like Mepis although I prefer Gnome over KDE, only my opinion.

For the others in this topic,
my first question here (in those days using another username):

My fellow Linuxians,

Coming from a Windows enviroment,
I'm used to using a viruskiller.

From what I read everywhere, in a Linux enviroment it's not required. Mind you, I'm not using any software running on Windows (through Wine for example)...

Should I use a viruskiller anyway (for example because all my friends still use Windows) ??? And of course, what's the best one (commercial or free/open-source) ????

Any thoughts welcome!
