Battle for Wesnoth, Armagetron, Super Tux and Scorched 3D are some that come to mind when I think of games that run great in Linux.

oh yeah forgot, savage : battle for newerth now freeware. This game is online/multyplayer only, so find some buddies for a frag fest.

I'm amazed that Frozen Bubble took so long to come up...

Armagetron 3D is a lot of fun, especially if you can get with some friends on a LAN.

I played Savage 1 back in the day; Savage 2 will be fantastic, if you're willing to pay.
