My day's not bad so far. It's kind of like a Friday for me because I'm going to a convention with my girlfriend tomorrow and it's going to last all week.

Great. I'm typing up a newsletter, and the weather outside is dull but mild. What's the convention Moe?

Bah. I need a snow day. It was supposed to snow 2-3 inches last night, and another couple inches today, but it didn't even start to accumulate until this morning. Of course, the university never closes for weather.

Just got an e-mail from UIS. All classes are canceled...
WooHoo! Two extra days to study for my test.
Edit: @Zelmo
Yeah, this year was the first time in a LONG time that UIS has closed for a snow day. But, this is the second time this year. We're having a pretty ****** winter. Two levels higher than a newb.

- 02-14-2007 #9Man, I know it's been a long day because at first I thought that said, "Does anybody walk sideways anymore?" I was going to raise my hand... but no. I won't.

- 02-14-2007 #10Yeah, big snow/ice storm on the East Coast of the States today. Almost everything's getting cancelled. It's funny how relative cancellations are now. I was in Alaska during 6 weeks of straight snow and all services and schools were still open for business. Now on the East Coast, it seems like even the threat of snowfall is enough to cancel most schools and government operations.
