That's the nice thing about a style sheet change. Tweak one file, upload, done.

This looks better than the previous one. I like the clean look, it is more readable now. Great job!!!

Suggestion:- The mouse over makes the whole link background go grey...that looks a bit abrupt...I would suggest changing only the link color...something like
Code:
alink="color1" link="color2" vlink="color3"

Good idea. Done. The original had some sort of orange background, so I just changed that color at first, but I like the idea of not changing the background at all better.

Love it! The colors are much happier than before and the site is so easy to navigate that I enjoy it a lot more.

You used to have a key explaining what the grading for the rants meant (0=It didn't install, 1=Installed but crashed, etc. or something like that...) Although, I read it for its informative value, I believe it would help to have an explanation of the grading back...

Nice site. The rants are pretty imformative. I half wish I had read them before deciding on my current distro. And now I have the urge to try vector linux.

I received my first actual intelligent, mature rebuttal of my Slackware 11 rant today. As such, I looked over it and decided to sanitize certain parts.

Does this mean I've bowed to the pressure? No. You'll note that all my original gripes are still there. The only thing missing are my constant acerbic comments to Patrick himself. In light of finding out that Patrick has had some pretty serious health problems I thought it in poor taste to end the rant with a reference to being taken off life support, so I changed that as well.

All in all, I'm just damned tired of hearing about this rant. Hopefully I've made it abundantly clear this time that I hate Slackware but I don't wish ill of Patrick Volkerding or his fans. Use what you like. Slackware just isn't for me.

I like the new look. Simple is always good.
I found out yesterday - went looking for a new comic.

I got your error page though - I was here "http://www.techiemoe.com/tech/slackware11.htm", and clicked on Techiemoe.com to go to your home page but the link took me here "http://www.techiemoe.com/tech/index.htm"
