I found out yesterday - went looking for a new comic.

I got your error page though - I was here "http://www.techiemoe.com/tech/slackware11.htm", and clicked on Techiemoe.com to go to your home page but the link took me here "http://www.techiemoe.com/tech/index.htm"
Hmm. I know that was an issue in the past, but I thought I'd fixed the navigation on the rants... Could you clear your cache and try again? I can't seem to duplicate the problem.

I have to take issue with you Sabayon review (which is ironic since I don't like gentoo or kde). You say "Instead of OpenOffice there was KOffice, a project that I'm amazed still exists in light of its superior open-source competition.". Koffice provides a office replacement that works and looks good with a qt environment. Openoffice is looks out of place (less so in a gtk environment). The only thing openoffice has going for it is better .doc support and looks more like word (which may or may not be a good thing). Other than that it is a train wreck.

Looks great, and uncluttered.

In the comics section, I couldn't find a link back to the main page. That was my only problem.

Yeah, that was a part of the old style sheet and I haven't gotten around to updating it. It would mean editing all 50 or so comic pages, which wouldn't be fun. That's not saying I *won't* do it, just that it's going to probably be a while.

I suppose if you're going to take issue with something, that's about the tamest thing you could. I simply prefer the look at feel of OpenOffice, and most of the K-branded apps to me just look ugly, even if they aren't "out of place" in KDE. Konqueror is a shining example of that. To each their own.

Cleared the cache, but still the same proublem.

Whenever I place my mouse pointer over "Techiemoe.com" at the top in any os rant, at ther bottom of the browser I see "http://www.techiemoe.com/tech/index.htm". shouldn't it be "http://www.techiemoe.com/index.htm?

oh, i'm using windows xp (since I left Trinidad, I haven't got my linux box up as yet)

I see now. The problem is in the link to the title itself, not my other navigation. Ugh. That's going to take a while to fix. Good eye though.

The tech stuff is way over my head but some of your comic panels made me literately laugh out loud.
