Thanks. I'm not worried. If I can survive the reception (having to be sociable with 120+ people, 3/4 of which I do not know) I'll be good.

Dude!!!

Congratulations! My best wishes to your and your fiancée!

Personally, the day of my wedding was the most nerve-racking of my life. I had no doubts about my partner and no worries about the future, so I've no idea why I was so nervous -- but I was shaking like a leaf! The celebratory glass of champagne after the ceremony was the most welcome drink of my life -- I know you don't drink, but perhaps you'll bend your rule this once?

Anyway -- congratulations again. I hope you'll be very happy!

Congratulations Moe... After all this time on here it would be incredibly churlish not to wish you well. I hope you and your partner have a long and happy life full of all the best things that fortune can bring you. May you find happiness, joy and prosperity.

John

Lol! That is a very difficult thing to do! After our wedding ceremony, my wife and I got pinned between a wall and a large sofa and the guest kept coming and coming... We were trapped! After almost passing out from exhaustion, we forged our way through to the refreshments in the nick of time! Sounds to me like you've found the perfect mate! I wish the two of you every happiness.

LOL
I know that to well. When me and my wife got married about 3/4 would have been her family and the rest mine and our friends.

Thank fully both of us where drunk enough fast enough to survive it. I think my written speech was something like 'complement bridesmaid and people for coming' other then that I just winged it... after a jug of bear and a caraf of wine.
Opening line was something like 'Sorry if this sucks, I'm shit at speeches. Apparantly I'm meant to compliement or hit on the bridesmaid'

Wish you all the best and happiness with your marrage.

Thanks for the support everyone. Things are kind of nuts this week with all the preparations. I probably won't be on the forum much next week (honeymoon in Las Vegas), but keep an eye out Monday for a little surprise.
