Well, it depends if you are running Windows or Linux! In windows I prefer BitComet. One of the most popular clients for Linux is Azureus. If you get low speeds in that then try Transmission (Linux), its excellent.

Hi, in my opinion for Windows (gurrr) uTorrent is the ultimate. It has a very simple user interface and is uncluttered. I'm not sure about the best Linux torrent program so I'm going to go along with tvilkov.

Azureus rocks, it is platform independent (written in java) so you can use it with both Linux and Windoz. If you have about 512MB RAM and not running memory consuming apps all the time it's the best choice (At least for me).

KTorrent hands down, no compitition, rips azureus and even utorrent apart, its absolutly perfect.

I've recently started using deluge and think it's superb. Could be the client I've been looking for.
For windows utorrent.
For a good list look at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compari...orrent_Clients

Thats a really good article! Seems like Azerous is the best all rounder then. Thanks for sharing that link.

I used Azureus for a while, but I didn't like how much memory it used, so I switched over to rtorrent. It takes some getting used to (curses interface, some strange controls), but it's great after you're used to it.

I just read today that the company is going to be legally selling movies on line from a bunch of different studios.

Thant's nice and all but the downloads are DRM licensed so we're screwed there.
