Hey everyone. Just thought i'd introduce myself. I've been messing with computers for a while now but i'm brand new to linux. I'm installing slackware on my system as i post this so i'm a complete noob and I dont even know what i'm doing haha...

Welcome. You picked a heck of a starter distribution there. You'll learn a lot about Linux installing Slackware, but don't expect it to be easy.

I started with Slackware as well. Don't give up on it. You'll gain insights of some of the true fundamentals of Linux that many users of 'easier' distributions don't seem to grasp.

welcome from another "newbie". since i'm new in here too and i also use slack, i thought it would be just fine to introduce myself in this thread.
i've used some distros in the past, and after some time i've decided to go back into the *nix world. now i'm using slack on my desktop and everything's good so far
