We aught to have an official Use Linux Week, where we all have 1 week to prove to somebody why they should stop using whatever crap, virus ridden, slow OS they use and switch them to the side of Linux.

I've tried converting people, but it's failed because of the following:
As of now ex friend: Is a Windows fanboy, refuses to use anything else.
Other friend: Won't use it because he doesn't want to break the warranty, dispite the fact just the other week I was round his hous fixing his bloody windows install. Warranty my ass!

I've asked another friend about converting to Kubuntu, he seems interested, next time I see him I'm going to try and get him onto Linux. Only problem is I think he uses wireless, and I don't know if I can convince him it's worth the effort to setup... hopefully the new beta will yeild some better results.

Ideally what I'd like to do is convert this house (we've got a home network) to Windows. I just don't know how to setup a similar domain/client network like the current active directory server does. If I found out I'd just switch it, and see if anybody notices.

BTW if anybody has some guides on that, share the love!

I don't like to convert anyone either. but i have had people approach me and ask about it and they decided to try it. most have liked it but some haven't. My wife said the most precious thing to me the other day though. she wants me to make her windows only desktop a dual boot. probably going to use ubuntu or linuxmint. I used to try to get my friend to convert just to see if he liked it because I saw the way his mind works and he has an intuitive thinking about computers. He never would at least try it. though I talked him into installing free bsd on one of my machines. never got him must past that. though maybe one day i will talk him into sparing 10gb to give himself a dual boot.
