    amazon free shipping sucks

so i ordered a comptia network+ study guide last thursday from amazon. As I was checking out it told me that it qualifies for free shipping so naturally, i checked the box next to it. I checked the website today to track the packages and found out that amazon free shipping takes about 3 weeks to get I tried just canceling the order and re-ordering it so i could just pay the 2.50 and get it in 5 days and it said it was already passed the order canceling stage.

    i hate free stuff

Personally I think it's a brilliant option to have. If I'm in a rush I pay, if not I wait and get it free

I like the free shipping option, too. And if I am really in a hurry, I go to a local book store or computer store or whatever, and buy it there.

I always use Amazon's free shipping option when it's available and get the item in about 5 to 7 days. I found that when I pay for shipping, it usually doesn't arrive any sooner.

I wish I had that option. The only bookstore we have in panama city is a books-a-million and they didn't even have any network+ books.

Bit off-topic but yesterday i bought a Wii remote from gameplay.co.uk and was given three shipping options, £4.99 guaranteed next day, £0.99 standard 1st class (up to 2 days), or free for 2nd class.

I chose the £0.99 option and yet the remote arrived first thing this morning. Less then 24hrs after I ordered it. Now that's quality service
