    WIndows Vs Linux.....

ME- - I just started going to an IT school and i'm working on my A+ certification...a newbie if u will.

I've switched over to linux due to windows being...well itself. My windows cd went bum and didn't work. Windows or dell couldn't say what the problem was, nor could n e forum for sure. Its been solved with a new cd and i have only to try asking dell for a new CD.

N E ways. The only plus i have yet to see on Linux is that is a cheap OS when u are building your own system. I havn't real dug into linux, i've just mastered re-installations and getting desktop rez to work and updating properly. That seems to be the only reason i see why to use linux. Windows has less problems....when compared to just installing linux for the first time and setting it up...yes it does have less.

I'd really appreciate your feedback and what applications you are able to use it for.
Personally...I miss good old CS:S and occasional WoW..

Posts with a title like yours will not attract positive discussion. Use Linux if you like it. Don't use it if you don't. There's nothing wrong with using what works for you.
