Linux Forums unavailable
For the last Two days I haven't been able to access the Forums. I could ping with no problems, but traceroute showed a huge bottleneck somewhere around Houston. Am I the only one this happened to?
I haven't noticed many new posts, so I assume the whole gang has been locked out.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

No, it was down for everyone and was down for almost 26 hours. I've not heard from Core Wizard what the exact problem was.

Well I had the same problem :P, a bit of a problem considering I had made myself a big problem on Linux and Linux Forums is always my first point of call after research. But I solved that. Glad the forums are back up

I apologize for the downtime, after a server upgrade, our database server completely crashed, which got us completely worried, so we took all the time to make sure things go smooth, since the size of this database is enormous, and losing it is not an option...
