[ot] eBay keeps asking me to verify account

I keep getting these e-mails to verify my account sign up at ebay. Needless to say, I have not registered at eBay. Should I be worried that someone is trying to use my identity? Is there someone I can contact at eBay to let them know I have no desire for an account?

its not ebay, its someone doing a scam.

Someone sends out 5,000,000 asking people to provide their ebay username & password (behind some fancy story). Some of those emails will reach ebay users. Some of the ebay users are incredibly stupid, stupid enough to fill out the form - the data is captured an then used later for fraudulant purposes.

Your not being targeted personally, so its not to much to worry about.

yeah you never should get an email from any website asking you to verify info they wont do that via email it is a scam as jason has mentioned
