    45.7 million credit/debit cards compromised???

A female friend in Boston called me today and said that some computer whiz had hacked into T.J. Max and gotten information about 45.7 million cards.

I told her I did not hear a thing about it but I added I would not be astonished about something like that happening. I got very leery about using plastic cards when Best Western double billed me for a one night stay four months after the fact.

I second that. I'm also going to conserve my usage of plastic when I shop.

I doubt it was a "computer whiz" normally all it takes is a tiny hole that a 13 year old could punch through to allow these things to happen. Anyways, yea this happened a couple years ago I think but was covered up until a couple months ago. Big big news around here, IDK if these stores are all around the country or what, but I think they are.
