Medium sized distros
I'm looking for some of what I would call "medium sized" distributions. Typically under 1gig, like ubuntu.
I am looking for them because I would like to download a few and try them out, I don't want to spend 9hours and a quarter of my download allowance downloading large OS's like suse and mandriva ect. Plus I already have a "large" distro and am looking to try a few ubuntu sized ones to play around with.
Can someone please post a list of distros like what im looking for, and maybe (if you want) a tiny review stating if the distro is any good or not.

You could try some of the distros like Arch, Debian, and Gentoo.
On those, you simply download the base system, then install only the apps you want, so they are technically anything you want them to be... small, medium, or large.oz

check www.distrowatch.com. all necessary info is there. reviews, download size and links etc.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Does anyone know if there is a "base download" or netinstall for CentOS, Fedora or openSuse?
And is it possible to put more than one image (netinstall image) on a DVD and when it loads up i select what distro i want to install, or will it just not work that way?
EDIT:
found a netinstall for suseIt is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.
