    Question Lunar Linux...

i've been interested in Lunar Linux for a long time. The name caught my attention and i looked into it. It sounds like an interesting distro. i'm curious if anyone else has tried it out. If so what did you think of it?

i'll probably go with Debian or Kubuntu but i kind of want to give Lunar a try.

I've heard of it before but never tried it. I'm not really into the source based distros just because in my opinion for the same amount of time you can do an LFS or DIY-Linux install and not only learn more but also be in even more control.

Yeah, after reading a bit more about Lunar Linux, it sounds like it would be pretty hard to get things working if they didn't work automatically. i think i'll stick to Debian & (K)Ubuntu.

Lunar linux is definitely not for the newbie or even some of the more experienced people.
But, if you want to be in total control or what goes into the packages you want, Lunar or Sourcemage is the way to go.
When you want a package on either distro, you will be asked on each dependency whether you want it or not.
    A little tedious.
