    Post linux certification for Devloper/programmer

    Hi All,

This is Rishabh Agarwal. I am a Embedded software engineer working on cross compilers for microcontrollers, having 4+ years of exprience of doing it on windows platform.

I think Linux is the essential thing for an embedded engineer and now i have decided to learn it but i m in confusion which certification to go for as RHCT/RHCE is meant for a administrator level.

can anyone will please suggest me what certification i must choose for being a certified programmer for linux and how to prepare for that or what is the best way for doing that?

    I will be highly obliged.

    Regards,
    Rishabh Agarwal

Well, programming is programming really, I can't think of any certs for programmers. RHCT and RHCE are for technicians and admins, but if you get RHCE then you will know the OS pretty well.
