Thumbs up Help make Dell more linux friendly

    Hey all,

Some of you may know that Dell is asking consumers what they want out of dell computers through a site called http://www.ideastorm.com/. It seems that the majority of the feedback is linux related. For example the number one idea is "Pre-Installed Linux | Ubuntu | Fedora | OpenSUSE | Multi-Boot" with 122506 points.

For this reason I'm encouraging all of you (if you have not already done so) to sign up and vote (it takes 1 minute tops) make the message stronger and vote for a more Linux friendly dell.

I don't know how much of a difference it will make, but it's worth a try. Even if they don't implement many of the ideas, at least maybe it will turn some heads and get a message across.

You're a little behind the times. Read the March 28 entry:

Personally, i'd rather not have the linux name sullied by being pre-installed by that schmutzy company, but that's just my opinion.
