I don't know whether this or something similar had been posted, and if the mods decide to DEL this thread, I'll understand. It's just that Is the Tux500 racecar advertizing project a scam? had been shutdown for comments with the disguise of getting too much spam from people like me(?). So I thought I'd give Linux Forums a try.

I wanted to post the following comment in response to PenguinPete's suspicions and allegations. I hope this self-proclaimed elitist would eat his words and loses all respect of the Linux community. He is just ... probably doing all these stupid things to get enough traffic on his URL.

Anyway, the quote from my blocked comment is as follow:

This is my first, and last post of this URL. I can't be drawn to something destructive to Linux when we want to advocate it.

Frankly, I wonder why you put your nose into EVERYBODY else's business? Don't you have anything else better to do? Or is it your just intention to split the Linux community. It's geeks like you that shouldn't use the Penguin. Why don't you follow the good examples of LT and RS and let Linux live up to the true meaning of freedom.

People form their own opinions but we don't go bashing people because they don't conform to our small/big circle of ideals.

BTW, this "Windows migrant" is smart enough not to follow your ReactOS advice because even we have minds to decide what we want. And I think devnet is a whole lot better person than you are!

I don't know anything about this PenguinPete fellow, but we discourage negative posts here. I don't see anything constructive coming out of this thread.
