    Yay!!

I'm not requesting any help, but a while ago I had huge problems with an old PII, and it wouldn't boot from CD, USB, only Floppy and it couldn't use any floppy drive I gave it. Now after some massive tweaking of the BIOS I was able to get it to recognise the Debian Etch Stable CD and I can put Debian GNU/Linux on the old computer instead of XP which made it very slow and crash a lot.

YAY!! I would really like to thank the fellow users of Linux forums for giving me such a smooth introduction to Linux. It is by far my favourite OS now .
    That's my two pence worth.

    Good stuff.

It's always nice having that sense of accomplishment.
