    I figured this would go here so...

    I have a question that had been pondering my mind for some time. Are all linux distrobutions under the GPL. Is everything under the GPL open source? And if for example somebody "sold" a copy of such-and-such linux would they be facing considerable reprocussions or would it not matter?
