    Linux Project

    I am starting a project for school and have decided to do it on Linux, but I need help with something.

    What is the % of people that use Windows, Mac OS, Linux?

    If someone is using Linux what are they using (%s)?
    EX: Ubuntnu: 56%, Fendora: 6%, Redhat: 0.1% etc;

    I just can not find these stats! Help would be appreciated.

    Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

    Here is some stuff I found.

    DistroWatch and Google Trends are two of the many tools that give you some insights on that matter.

    This search for example can give you an idea about the relative popularity of the different Linux distributions.

    No, it displays the number of searches done for whichever term you specify.
