There's a book I like to recommend called "Running Linux" published by O'Reilly. It's a slim little volume but I found it a better introduction to Linux for someone (i.e. me) who knew nothing than any of those big Linux "bibles" you get.

I second that... it's a great book, and my most valued for Linux.

    Well I figured:

    1. I have that old POS dell computer
    2. I am going switching my major to computer science, so I should jump on the bandwagon and learn linux finally
    3. I should have a lot of free time this summer
    4. The possibilities are endless

    wooo linux
