at&t Dial up access

is it possible to access that service with Ubuntu Linux? I have someone i am building a PC for and they have that service. i cannot install windows without pirating it so i thought i would give Ubuntu a try for them. but i was told they have dial up through at&t. Any ideas for me?

Do you mean with a modem? Just make sure it is not a winmodem (most are) and you should be fine

I don't think there's any problem with the ISP being AT&T. Here's a HowTo for help in getting it setup:

yes i was speaking about a modem. but i wasnt so much talking about using a modem but ozar answered my question. I needed to make sure someone could us at&t dial up with out issue. when i was on dial up i had trouble finding a service that didnt have a custom dialer that only worked with windows ie AOL. thanks for the responses.
