Cool Post Your Desktop Screenshots - 2007

Guidelines

Please do NOT post full resolution shots because they play havoc with the forum borders. Instead, post the URLs to your screenshots, or post thumbnails of them.

If you don't have your own upload storage space you can post URLs or thumbnails using one of the free image hosting services such as ImageShack. You should use the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" link code that is supplied to post your screenshots here.

The thumbnails will look similar to this:

Don't forget to include any links to your wallpaper, configs, names of icon themes, running apps, DE/WM, or other important information in the same post to reduce all unnecessary clutter later.

Once the new year begins, please don't post new screenies in the old threads.

Note: the old screenshots thread has been locked and can be found here:

DE : Fvwm-Crystal
OS : Feisty Fawn

using default configs of fvwm-crystal and i didn't change anything.
trying to get my hands on actual 'fvwm'. i played a little bit with fvwm's config but couldn't configure it properly yet.

thanx to ozar for introducing me to this fabulous DE.
i will post desktop screenshot of fvwm configured by myself soon...

Very nice, casper!

Yeah, fvwm-crystal come with lots of eyecandy. I've run it before and quickly found that the configs were very different from most fvwm configs.

Have fun when you get started on your own personal configuration. You can make it look just about any way you want. You'll find that it's an extremely powerful WM, but it takes lots of work and experimentation to get things just right.

Enjoy FVWM!

Edit: here's a listing of some other downloadable configurations for anyone interested in them:

I sometimes use this theme. Not sure where I got it from; it was the result of a Google search.

I'm a Dr Who fan, and I liked the way the picture had been put together.

I have changed the titlebars to blue but that does not count for much. Do you know how to make it look like Mac?
