I've used linux off and on for about 7 or 8 years now. The first distro that I ever used was Knoppix. I never installed it, I just ran it from the livecd whenever I wanted it. It wasn't until I got fed up with Vista that I began to use linux on a day to day basis.

Over the years, I have had many different distros on my machine, and I have even helped out with a couple of different projects. Currently, I run Ubuntu on my two main desktops, while I run Slitaz on my 500Mhz server.
