    oh dear lord that pidgin mascot is as goofy as it gets! Well i guess some people said the same about Tux originally but I still stand by my original assertion.


    p.s. if you click on the link to download for fedora core it goes to the front page and doesn't get you a download...weird.

    Download... extract... configure... install build-essential... configure... install glib-dev... configure... install gtk-dev... configure... install xml2-dev... configure... make... watch cpu spike and listen to jet-engine sound the fan makes... check acpi and freak the hell out because it says cpu is at 152.6 degrees F... think about how i should be studying for my final exam that i have in a few hours... stare at error 127... cuss, wait for .deb package.
    Two levels higher than a newb.

    I hope that logo was an in-house design because I don't think anyone is impressed by it.

    I'll try it out when I get home. Although, from the current reviews in this thread I'm not looking forward to it.

    it runs fine just looks so much different that the beta's i ran a beta version up till beta 5 and it just looks different than that. why they went from the beta version to the final version and changed its look so much i will never understand.
