I' ve struggled with the kids (15 years old) for 1 year, they have been trying to asure me that Linux shall fall, that it's for idiots (like me
), but on last Friday I've installed Edgy on a boy's PC. Everything is working fine, even the internet, since he uses outer an AP. Since that day everybody wants me to install Linux on his PC.
If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:

You're a teacher or something? I wish my ICT teacher knew something about Linux.
Actually I do like all these posts, how people open to try Linux find it so awesome. I recently converted my friend to Kubuntu and he does like it alot, a few bugs he thinks he's better off. He's a smart man.

I'm seeing more and more interest. When I first started I tried to talk a few people around but I realised there's no point if they have Windows-only requirements or they simply aren't interested.
Over time though more and more people are asking me to help them with Linux and I have supplied many distro discs. My own mother runs SUSE 10.2. Amazingly it's because she's not happy with the level of gamin on Windows!
(She's more of a Breakout and puzzle gamer).
