ACLS test!

Well I go for my ACLS test tomorrow! It should be hard but not too difficult. The hardest part is memorizing all the cardiac drugs ~_~

Except in real life you never shock asystole (flatline)

Yeah I always wondered about that. I was under the impression that defribrillation was to stabilise the heartbeat by stopping and starting it (rebooting ). But those pads make their way to every scene in any medical drama you watch.

Is that correct? Are they just for stabilising?
