    I had installed FC6 on my parents' computer back in December, and its still working solid as a rock.

    Other than the new wallpapers and boot/loging themes, there isn't really much reason to upgrade...

    But I am grad it is now called only Fedora, and not Fedora Core. I always had a though time explaining what the "Core" meant to Linux newcomers...

    If I remember correctly, you should be able to install it using YUM and the install CD's.

    I haven't used Fedora since it was FC3, though, so I'm sure a lot has changed.

    You are correct.....a lot has indeed changed. FC4, I believe, was the most stable release by and far (except some miscompiled libs)....FC6 was pretty stable and incorporated many new features.
