I'm sure we'll have to say this many times so we might as well start now: it's not Fedora Core 7, it's just Fedora 7. From the Fedora wiki:
Fedora 7 will be the next release of Fedora. It is highlighted by the elimination of the distinction between Fedora Core and Fedora Extras entirely; there is only Fedora.
As for the distro, I've been using test releases for about 3 weeks now. I've never used Fedora Core 2 or 1 but I think this may be the most ambitious release yet. I'm pleased with the direction the project is heading in.

Be careful with those shots of moonshine. You could go blind. I'll eventually pick up a disc, but I honestly can't say I "look forward" to ranting on it. Fedora has ceased to excite me for a while now.

I just noticed casper is now a trusted ghost instead of a "trusted penguin". Very nice.

    Indeed.
I don't really use RH/Fedora at home, but I do have all their version starting from its beginning. RH/Fedora always comes with many new stuff.
It's not that fast or even very stable, but any real geek will aways keep trying it.

PS: So far, it looks very nice. I can't find beagle though...
Did they remove it as a default?

Yeah. You have to specify that you want it during the install. Here's the reason:
In response to frequent bugs in Beagle (a desktop search tool) causing CPU and memory stress, AlexanderLarsson made it optional [1] in the default install. While regretting that this was a regression in terms of features he pointed out that Beagle was still available for those who wanted it. There was a mild amount of satisfaction expressed in response to the decision.
