I'm sure we'll have to say this many times so we might as well start now: it's not Fedora Core 7, it's just Fedora 7. From the Fedora wiki:
As for the distro, I've been using test releases for about 3 weeks now. I've never used Fedora Core 2 or 1 but I think this may be the most ambitious release yet. I'm pleased with the direction the project is heading in.Fedora 7 will be the next release of Fedora. It is highlighted by the elimination of the distinction between Fedora Core and Fedora Extras entirely; there is only Fedora.

I just noticed casper is now a trusted ghost instead of a "trusted penguin".
Very nice.

Indeed.
I don't really use RH/Fedora at home, but I do have all their version starting from its beginning. RH/Fedora always comes with many new stuff.
It's not that fast or even very stable, but any real geek will aways keep trying it.
PS: So far, it looks very nice. I can't find beagle though...
Did they remove it as a default?

Yeah. You have to specify that you want it during the install. Here's the reason:
In response to frequent bugs in Beagle (a desktop search tool) causing CPU and memory stress, AlexanderLarsson made it optional [1] in the default install. While regretting that this was a regression in terms of features he pointed out that Beagle was still available for those who wanted it. There was a mild amount of satisfaction expressed in response to the decision.
