    hi everyone!

    hi, i am new in the linux community, and i would like to present myself to you guys!

    i am a 22 year old computer technician, finished my formation 1 year ago.
    i mainly moved to linux beccause i was tired of the erratic behavior of windows.

    even windows xp suck ass, despite its slightly stable that the rest of the windows.

    i did some Linux in my course, but not much. since i am a jackass, i didnt installed ubuntu , i opted for slackware, beccause i am used to install this version.

    i tought at first, linux would be unable to give me what windows give, but holy crap!
    in less than a week, all is working fine, my audio, my video, my msn, everything work on Linux!

    i really tought it was, you know, damn hard to install program on linux, that there was 10 000 diferents way to do it etc. i was soooo wrong.

    i am starting to discover that in fact, the konsole is the almighty god in the universe.

    Same here, i used to think it was too hard to install programs - now i realize that its just as easy as windows only you don't have to pay for any software you want.

    Anyway, welcome to these boards. I can tell you, speaking from my own experiences, that this is the best and most helpful linux forum going - theres always someone willing to help.
