    Mugshot

Anyone here use Mugshot? I am not one for social networking sites, but this one is a little different. First, it brings together what you do on other sites (youtube, flickr, blogger, rss feeds). Second it is being developed by Red Hat
Mugshot is designed and developed in the context of an open source community project.

Interesting. I did a stint with social networking sites (MySpace, Facebook, OKCupid) and after a few months of inane entertainment value, they just became annoying for me. I liked the fine-grain control of information that Facebook offered and despised the sheer amount of eye-raping gaudy profiles there were on MySpace. OKCupid was a good time killer with their millions of user-created silly quizzes.

All of them failed to "network" me socially though, and I got more than a little leery about having so much personal information posted online. I no longer have active usernames or profiles on any of their services.
