    Hi Friends !

    i didn't start this thread to boast about my thread count or putting some of you to shame. ( no no Giles ). as i mentioned in first post, i didn't know a single thing about Linux before joining LinuxForums.

    why my thread count is too high? i have a lot of free time.
    i am working as Professor in Engineering College. 3 lectures a day + 2 hrs in Labs. secondly, first 15 days in Linux world were frustrating for me. installation problems, Dual Boot, GPRS Bluetooth Connection, partition sharing and slow system. at one point of time, i was going to quit.
    thanx to LinuxForums. i survived.
    i am trying my best to help others, to make things a bit easy.

    a lot of members have low thread count but their posts helped me enormously.
    thanx a lot.
