A linux music player that plays DRM music?
Is there a Music player for Linux that plays DRM music by chance? and one that manages podcasts (partiulary the movie podcasts) I have a friend that wants to try linux, but she loves a particular iTunes podcast and has a bunch of DRM music.

Linux is user friendly, not idiot friendly.

Well... you already can do this with most players.
It's simply immoral though (and probably not legal in the US).
Tell your friend that she needs to understand more about computing and software ethics before even considering using GNU/Linux.
Here's a good starting place:
The GNU Operating system - the GNU project - Free Software Foundation - Free as in Freedom - GNU/Linux
PS: Could post a link for that podcast (I really wasn't aware that Apple still used DRM in any of their podcasts). They're the ones who really need to repair their service.
PS PS: As for the music you buy with iTunes, most of it doesn't use DRM either.

there's an easy way to remove the DRM, though i won't discuss them here for legal reasons (i don't want either myself or the site getting C&Ds from the neighborhood friendly RIAA).
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?
