I heard a live broadcast of a Smashing Pumpkins concert once on the radio in the mid-90s. They sounded horrible. Some bands I just prefer in pre-recorded format.

I wasn't aware that the Smashing Pumpkins had reunited. I know Billy Corgan did several producing gigs for other artists and had a pet project called Zwan (which I hated), but can you send me a link to something on the new album? I'm curious.

I would recommend Wilco (A.M., Being There, Mermaid Avenue) and Fugazi.

Nirvana, Bush, Pearl Jam, or any other grunge band. Orgy, Korn, Limp Bizkit (lol), old Staind (Dysfunction), Primus, Alice In Chains, Marilyn Manson (Mechnical Animals!), NWA, Ace of Base, MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, and many more!

Either that or the start of Faithless - Insomnia. That's such a timeless classic as well.
