    What's wrong with GMail?

The last couple of weeks I can't send email from thunderbird, thus I have to browse to gmail website and sent it there. it just said that connection to smtp server failed. I do think I set the smtp server correctly. Maybe the lame internet connection here. I don't know. Any of you experiencing the same problem?

I don't see anything wrong; those are exactly the same settings I have in my Thunderbird, which works fine. The only thing I can think of is maybe your password was typed in wrong.
