if you can't download Fedora DVD, i would suggest you to download Fedora KDE LiveCD or GNOME LiveCD from here. its only around 690MB. both LiveCDs have install option too.

you can purchase DVD or CDs from buylinuxdvd.com in India.

Well almost every hardware is supported by linux distros specifically fedora/redhat If ever by chance one of the odd hardware fails to auto install there are 3rd party softwares drivers which are available on internet.

yes. no more CDs but you can download LiveCDs of Fedora KDE and Fedora Live (GNOME) from here. both LiveCDs have install option.
