Keyboard OR Mouse?
what do you use most of the time?
one has to use keyboard for writing. so, dont consider typing.
The first thing that i do after fresh installation is, setup Keyboard shortcuts for Application that i use mostly ( Home folder, Terminal, FireFox, Xine, Xmms and Kate etc.), Multimedia keys and Win key for Menu.
i use Mouse rarely.
i am not aware of anything other than Keyboard and Mouse. if you use anything else, share with us.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

If you are inclined to use the keyboard, you might want to check out wmii (window manager), as it's very keyboard oriented.

Always have been a keyboard man. I think that's why I'm so drawn to CLI interfaces. A lot of people I've spoken to think the mouse makes things quicker, I on the other hand think it slows you down.

It depends on if I'm using my laptop or main pc.
If I am on the pc, I use the mouse exclusively, on the laptop, I am half and half.
And the keyboard shortcuts that I use are just "Alt + ?"How to know if you are a geek.

I have a bias towards using a mouse, but I like keyboard shortcuts too. I do a lot of work with text files, so shortcuts speed things up for me.
I do what I call 'text washing' which is taking chucks of text or markup and 'cleaning them up' in a text editor, to use elsewhere in different contexts. Shortcut keys are useful for that. I think the mouse was invented to be used with a keyboard to speed things up.I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it. - Pablo Picasso

I love me some keyboard shortcuts, and that's what I prefer over a mouse click/drag/drop but a lot of times it just isn't possible to cycle through a menu without a mouse.
Anyone know how to keyboard shortcut to the next tab in firefox? I know ctrl W will close the current tab.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

I use a combination of the keyboard and shouting. If I cant get my application to work the way I want with the keyboard, I shout at the monitor until it does...

I try to be proficient with the keyboard, because I can do some things faster, but mostly because it makes me feel like a tech god.
