Post NWA uses Linux for there In Flight-Entertainment (IFE)

When I was flying home, on Northwest Airlines Airbus A330, I notice that my In Flight-Entertainment (IFE) was restarting. And as it was restarting I saw the Linux's Penguin. I thought that was interesting that a company like Northwest Airlines uses Linux software for there In Flight-Entertainment program.

That's pretty cool! I think its cool when I'm at the bar and they restart those megatouch machines and they boot into a Linux kernel. Linux is everywhere!

My bank runs its ATM on Windows XP...apparently some special edition....I saw once when in the middle of using the ATM I got this pop-up saying Windows has encountered a serious error and needs to shut down...contact the Administrator etc....Then it rebooted and I saw the Windows XP Bootscreen......
