    TuxWalk at Microsoft

    You can never guess what I found at Windows Marketplace today.....a program that makes a penguin walk right across your desktop. Link.

    Also I found a AbiWord there....

    And then I started to wonder if Windows Market Place was an MS web-site at all....you have "start menu" entries to go there (default installation) and there are links elsewhere too....Anyways its fun to see such things....

    Last week on this website (windows marketplace), every one was able to see that among MS's rich offer there was also Canonical's Ubuntu...........MS removed that page. But thousands of people have had already seen it and lived the day to download Ubuntu from Microsoft. Actually, more than 10,000 downloads had already occurred
    Basically on the website "windows marketplace" they were offering ubuntu as a download. There description of it was "Ubuntu is a community developed operating system that is perfect for laptops, desktops, and servers.". They did eventually remove it, but only after 10,000+ downloads had taken place.
