lol I have to second carlos.

Its really nice to see some activity on these forums. Some days its far too quiet here, but your lack of coherency and substance to your posts is baffling me! lol

Dont mean to sound critical, but many of these topics have already been discussed to death.

Then dont reply. it will sink to the bottom of the forums if you just leave it...

Or are we that dependent on the mods to close the topics nobody likes? Unless anyone has anything interesting to say, I declare this thread unofficially closed :P

    Go psuedo-mod rudie_rage... lol

Read The Journal of technical writing and communication for more information.

I believe it was a year or two ago that it had information pertaining to Internet communities.
It described them as slightly communistic but with a tinge of anarchism.
However, it all works out since each person is contributing to the community.
Regardless, schisms can occur when members disagree with each other's views.

One of my favorite articles covered how teenagers tend to decrease smoking when they increase their talking on cell phones.
I suppose it's related to Freudian psychology in some manners.
It's a good journal and often a fun read.

In relation to this forum, it has existed for some years. The community stays a little active, and schisms can be reduced by allowing people to discuss various operating systems instead of focusing on one.
