virus free

hi all
is linux is the virus free operating system..
think it is...

Surely this has nothing to do with opinion, but it would be fact. Either Linux is a virus-free operating system or it is not.

It is not immune to viruses - people can get viruses on Linux, it's just the exposure to such risks is very limited, as is the risk of damage because of the way Linux user permissions work (i.e. every user does not have administrator privileges by default, unlike with some other operating systems).

But this shows that Linux cannot be the 'virus free operating system'.
