Question Question about Linux Administration books

Hi All,

I'm wondering if any one out there can direct me to a precise, Linux manual in preparation for taking a Linux Administration certification and which distribution, is the highly required at present.

Many thanks in advance.

I doubt a precise Linux manual exists! If there is one I've not found it. However there are lots of study guides for various exams and there are lots of books recommended on various threads on this forum so do a search.

Out of interest, what cert are you after?

As for distro again it depends on what you want to do with your new cert but i would get familiar with both RPM and Debian based distro's.

Thumbs up Question about Linux Administration books Answered

Hi bassinvader,

I have been informed that Linux+ Certification Bible or Linux+ 2005 in Depth are two good reads..

Many thanks for your response.
